👨🍳 STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
✅
Step 1: Prep the Noodles
If using fresh Hokkien noodles, soak them in warm water for 2–3 minutes to loosen them up.
Drain and set aside.
✅
Step 2: Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and water.
Stir well and set aside.
✅
Step 3: Stir-Fry the Veggies & Protein
Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or pan over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds.
Add onion, cabbage, carrots, and your choice of protein (chicken, shrimp, or tofu).
Stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until the veggies are tender and the protein is heated through.
✅
Step 4: Add Noodles & Sauce
Add the pre-soaked Hokkien noodles to the wok.
Pour the sauce over the top.
Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated and heated through—about 2–3 minutes.
✅
Step 5: Finish & Garnish
Toss in bean sprouts and chopped green onions.
Stir-fry for 1 more minute.
Serve hot with a sprinkle of sesame seeds or a squeeze of lime (optional).
