  • 1 pack of pre-made pizza dough or biscuit dough – about 12 oz
  • 4 –6 mozzarella cheese sticks or strips of fresh mozzarella – about 8 oz total
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese – for extra flavor
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter – for that rich golden finish
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder – optional but highly recommended
  • ½ teaspoon dried herbs like oregano, basil, or parsley – or use Italian seasoning blend
  • Salt and black pepper – to taste

🥣 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

Set oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
 

2. Prepare the Dough

Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. If using biscuit dough, flatten each biscuit into a circle about ¼ inch thick.
 

3. Stuff with Cheese

Place one mozzarella stick at the end of each dough rectangle. Roll up tightly like a burrito and seal the edges by pressing gently with your fingers.
 
💡 Tip: Don’t skip sealing the ends — you don’t want the cheese to leak out during baking!
 

4. Cut Into Breadsticks

Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice each roll into 1-inch slices to create bite-sized breadsticks.
 

5. Season the Breadsticks

In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dried herbs. Brush generously over each breadstick.
 

6. Bake Until Golden

Arrange on the baking sheet, leaving space between each piece. Bake for 12–15 minutes , or until golden brown and puffed up.
